Countless racing car victories remembered by distinctive car paints & liveries.
This swirl of colors inspired me for the creation of ​​my chromatic discs called
ICON WHEELS.
A disc represents the color scheme or livery of a racing car, each color being proportionally reported. The round shape is a reference to the roundel, the white circle on which the race car numbers are pasted. As for the enamel, it alludes to enamel plates which were used in the past for shops signs of garages or advertising signs for oils and tires.
ICON WHEEL discs are created the old-fashioned way. Each color is a specific powder and every color is baked subsequently in an oven at 800°C which results in this slight relief that I love so much.
